Clear communication, smooth workflow, adding value, and maintaining satisfied clients marks my approach to every project. I place significant emphasis on the early stages of a project to ensure that I am fully aligned with a client’s expectations and that I have a thorough understanding of the brief. Where possible, I provide written concepts and pre-visualisations to help avoid misunderstandings, crossed wires and unwanted surprises that can negatively affect both the working relationship and project costs.

My communication is tailored to the needs of each project and generally involves a mix of email and phone contact as best appropriate. From the outset, I strive to build a simple, easy-to-follow email-based system for previews, information, approvals and progress updates. This quickly becomes a comfortable and familiar workflow for a client with the added benefit of not having to learn new production management applications often associated with working with screen media production providers.

I work on an agreed and uncomplicated, fixed-budget principle wherever possible, that allows for a reasonable number of revision sessions and incorporates known external production costs where these can be identified in advance. Production costs and timeframes can vary considerably depending on the scope of a project. However, options can be explored to tailor a production approach to suit an available budget while communicating the core message and done within a required time frame.
